Escape
Digital reconstruction and cinematic visualization of Dog and Doctors House by Pirinen Salo Oy Architects.
A residential precedent used to develop an architectural environment and an escape narrative.
The study was developed in Sebastian Misiurek’s Immersive Architecture through Virtual Reality course. Digital reconstruction establishes the building geometry, interior materials and lighting. A fictional sequence then uses the house’s rooms, thresholds and vertical circulation as narrative elements.

Architectural reconstruction
Exterior views establish the roof geometry and wooded setting. Interior studies cover living and dining areas, a stove, bedroom, mirror and ladder. The sequence moves from the building’s overall form to individual fixtures and details.
Camera position, material properties and lighting are adjusted to maintain a consistent environment across wide views and close details.
Narrative and camera sequence
A traveler seeks shelter from a storm and becomes trapped inside the house. Flickering lights and a television direct the route through the interior. A key in the fireplace provides access to an exit; ladders extend the route toward the roof.
Framing, haze, illumination and long interior views establish the sequence. The selected renderings document the environment developed for this cinematic study.
